Datateam quits outdoor

Datateam Business Media has sold its sports trade magazines, which include the industry publication, SGB Outdoor. The new owners of the titles, Surrey based Silverback Publishing, operate in a number of markets, notably music and motoring, but this will be its first move into the business publishing sector. Silverback director Tom Saunders said: “The SGB brand is very strong with a lot of history. It suits what we are trying to achieve as a publisher; giving us a foot in both the B2B and B2C worldsAs such, it will really complement our business.” SGB Outdoor is now largely published online, although print versions appear from time to time.
